What Your Money Will Buy

rc1.jpg$2 MILLION
Located in Marcello, in the Lee County sector of Mediterra, this four-bedroom, den, four-and-a-half-bath home was sold in March for $2,350,000, unfurnished. Selling agents Emily Bua and Tade Bua Bell of Premier Properties of Southwest Florida say the McGarvey-built, Mediterranean-style home, built in 2006, has 6,795 total square feet and 4,521 square feet under air. “The outdoor area is outstanding,” Bua says, “with its covered loggia, cypress ceiling, summer kitchen and outdoor gas fireplace.” Adds Bua Bell, “There are two master suites, hand-stenciled ceilings and a stone gas fireplace in the living room, and golf course views.”

This two-story home provides waterfront living in handily located Connors Vanderbilt Estates. Close to the beach and all North Naples conveniences, this attractive residence, built in 2001, has five bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and 3,780 air-conditioned square feet. Selling agent Tracey L. Young, of Prudential Florida Realty, says the large lanai, heated pool, sun deck and wrap-around boat dock were popular amenities with prospective buyers wanting to fully enjoy outdoor living, and the second-floor loft and top-notch kitchen were potent selling points inside. The home, with 4,789 total square feet, sold for $1.2 million unfurnished.

An Old Florida theme embellishes the 2,980 air-conditioned square feet of a former Verandah model that sold for $660,000, unfurnished, in February. Catch it in the sunny yellow clapboard siding, the roof shakes, the wood-hued shutters and the white-railed front porch. Observe it in the kitchen’s beadboard cabinet doors that alternate with mullioned glass insets in a room trimmed with arches, columns and multi-tiered granite counters. Built by Florida Lifestyle Homes of Fort Myers Inc. in the Cedar Hammock neighborhood, the three-bedroom, three-bath home delivers unexpected details, such as a trellised garden off the master bath, a pavered driveway and a fireplace on a screened lanai with summer kitchen, pool and golf course views. The Fort Myers home’s total square footage is 4,400.
