Denise LeClair Cobb has a 25-year career in television, including being an award winning on-air talent, producer, manager, consultant and station owner. She began her career as an anchor and producer at a CBS station in West Virginia and from there went on to anchor news programs at ABC and NBC affiliates. Denise was one of the original news anchors at CNN in Atlanta when that 24-hour news operation was launched and was chosen to anchor the premiere broadcast of CNN Headline News.

From CNN, Denise joined News Travel Network as a correspondent and producer. In that capacity, she traveled the country and the world reporting on travel and tourism for television stations across the United States and overseas.
 
When plans were announced to launch the Travel Channel, Denise was asked to come to New York to assist in the hiring and formatting of the new network. With that task completed, she went on to form her own production company.

One of her many assignments was for U.S. Public Television stations, which took her to Mainland China. There she hosted five, live hour-long television programs from Shandong Province, including the first interactive television exchange between students in China and students in the United States. Denise was the last U.S broadcaster to report from China before the massacre at Tianamen Square.

She also completed an 18-month project in Vietnam assisting the Vietnamese with developing their television production skills and, with a partner, produced a Vietnamese version of American Bandstand for broadcast throughout the country. It was the first such program produced with help from the West.

Denise and her husband, Brian owned the ABC station, WTXL-TV in Tallahassee, and KADY-TV in Los Angeles/Santa Barbara, California, she oversaw the news and public affairs departments and helped train the young journalists who worked for her.

In addition to her professional work, Denise now serves on the board of trustees of the Guadalupe Center of Immokalee and is a founding and current board member of the Naples Children and Education Foundation. As chairman of PR, she brought together all of that organization’s beneficiaries to form a committee dedicated to working together to help the needs of the underserved children of Collier County.  Denise also chaired the public relations committee for the Naples Winter Wine Festival for five years, and was responsible for not only generating local coverage of this world class event, but also National and International coverage.  She is a member of the Board of Regents at Ave Maria University, a board member of Career Transition for Dancers in New York City, and chaired its annual gala.  Committee work includes St. Ann’s annual fundraiser as well as fundraisers for Boys and Girls Club, David Lawrence Center and other local charitable organizations.
