Spice Up Your Tuesdays with Craft Cocktail Dinners

The Continental’s popular series has expanded to accommodate a spike in demand.

BY April 4, 2018

A clink of the highballs, folks! The Continental, that bougainvillea-draped oasis of steak so good it could make vegetarians rethink their diets (their supplier, Snake River Farms, boasts the longest wagyu breeding program in the U.S.), is bringing back its Craftsman Bar Series. And because the restaurant on Third Street South in Naples is known almost as much for its ambitious cocktail program as it is for being a meat lover’s paradise, the dinners—nine in total, held select Tuesdays May 1 through Oct. 23—will each serve up four cocktails with accompanying small plates according to a theme. (One that stands out, for example, is “The Roaring 20s” with classic Prohibition-era libations; another, “Let’s Carbonate,” touts fizzy numbers.) Reserve the $65 seats early by phone (239-659-0007) because the bar fits only 30 for each event, and most sold out last year as quickly as they were announced on social media.
