3 Things We Love About Sydney’s Pub

The little-known yet open-to-the-public restaurant within Tiburón Golf Club is a hole-in-one for beautiful views and craveworthy comfort food.

1) Panorama City

Nestled deep in the course with its more prominent neighbor—The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples—to the left and a full story above where golfers are zipping by, the views from the restaurant’s balcony are of uninterrupted greens and lakes.

2) Scratch-Made in Heaven

Chef Brent Moore not only sources quality ingredients, like Joyce Farms chickens and Humboldt Fog goat cheese, but also hand-cuts all fries, makes the pasta and flatbread doughs (the latter of which gets baked twice for extra crispiness), and batches up all soups and sauces on-premise. Something as simple as fried pickles are taken to another level with long spears getting a super-crunchy and thick fish-and-chips batter.

3) The 19th Hole’s Happiest Hours

If you want bustle, Monday night is by far the busiest, with folks cramming in for the pub’s deals from 4-7 p.m., with half-off appetizers and well drinks, drafts and wine. The pub’s menu is the same all day, regardless of whether you’re there for lunch, afternoon snacks or dinner—but, from 5 p.m. on, there’s a special list of five or so entrées like Tandoori salmon with couscous and chicken breast with cipollinis over polenta that come with soup or salad, and none is priced above $34. (FYI, there is no dinner service Saturday or Sunday.)
