As you may have deduced from one of our features in this month's issue, we’re all for experiencing nature at night. And Corkscrew After Hours makes it easy by hosting us under the full moon. Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary’s 2.25-mile boardwalk is open on Feb. 10 until 9 p.m., granting a whole new perspective on the critters and plants that dwell there—different sounds, different smells, different sights. It’s a beauty few ever adequately explore. The penultimate program of the seasonal monthly event is themed “Wetlands Restoration,” so expect fitting exhibits and some more interesting education on the matter from sanctuary leaders along the way. Plus, your admission ticket is good during the daylight the following day.
