Start bidding in the Naples Winter Wine Festival's Online Auction

The auction runs through Jan. 31

BY January 11, 2016

Live auctions not your thing? No matter. You can experience the thrill of the bid (and the pleasure of helping at-risk children) through the Naples Winter Wine Festival’s online auction. Bidding runs from today through Jan. 31. Packages range from jewelry to private dinners to exclusive getaways.

This is the second year for the online version of the world-renowned auction. Proceeds from the entire festival benefit the Naples Children & Education Fund, which awards grants to Collier County organizations that address children’s medical and mental health needs, school readiness, learning gaps and the like.

“The Naples Winter Wine Festival is famous for its incredible live auction, and now even more people can experience the thrill of our auction by bidding online,” Chuck Hallberg, Co-Chair of the Online Auction Committee, said in a media release. “We invite everyone to check out our amazing array of one-of-a-kind items, each donated specifically for our Online Auction. This auction allows all winning participants to help NCEF make a lasting difference for thousands of children in this community.”

Community members can also make online pledges to this year’s Fund-A-Need initiative, which is focused on opening pre-school programs to more children in Immokalee, Golden Gate and East Naples.
