Members and guests of the Latchkey League stepped back into the 1920s for the Roaring 20s Affair held on January 16, 2018 at the Vineyards Country Club in Naples, Florida. Hosted by Myra Janco Daniels and Lynette Merillat, flappers with their long gloves and fancy headwear accompanied gentlemen wearing fedoras or zoot suits.
Sponsors included Tamiami Ford, Tamiami Hyndai, and Tamiami Genesis.
Special entertainment featured Richard “Dick” Hyman, world famous composer and performer. During his 60-year career, he has functioned as a pianist, organist, arranger, music director, and more. Hyman was a National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Masters fellow in 2017.
Décor included crystal vases, white feathers and other accompanying 1920s paraphernalia.
The Latchkey League, founded by Myra Janco Daniels, holds exciting parties and other special events all season long to raise funds for children’s after-school programs in the greater Naples area.
