Campo Felice Hosts Luau

BY June 19, 2017

On Wednesday, May 31, 2017, Campo Felice Retirement Living said “Aloha!” to more than 160 future residents and guests with an exclusive luau on the downtown community’s newly finished pool terrace.

The evening included delicious hors d’oeuvres from Fort Myers’ Global Event Marketplace, delightful cocktails and Polynesian-inspired music and movement provided by Aloha Islanders Hawaiian Entertainment of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Between bites and sips, future residents got to know each other better and toured floorplans and furnished models on the 18th floor of this entirely refurbished luxury high-rise.

“The luau was our first major event at Campo Felice, and though we all had a wonderful time, it was only a small taste of what’s to come for this community and its residents,” said Executive Director Heather Battey.

Once completed, Campo Felice will boast 322 residences – with both waterfront views, city views and eight floorplans to choose from – and a wide range of amenities, including four on-site gourmet restaurants and a Starbucks Coffee, a state-of-the-art fitness center, 24/7 concierge and security, a salon and spa, a 49-seat cinema, valet parking, a dog park, weekly housekeeping, an art studio and media center, a grand ballroom, bocce ball court and much more.

The pool terrace, Campo Felice’s most recently completed amenity, features a beach-entry salt water pool, a salt water hot tub, fire pits and pool-side food and drink service, with views of the gorgeous Caloosahatchee River – sure to be a favorite among Campo community residents.

“But it’s not just the residents who are excited about the future of Campo Felice,” said Rebekah MacFarlane Barney, Chief Operating Officer of the MacFarlane Group and the woman behind the idea and impetus of transforming the city skyline’s former eye sore into luxury senior living rentals. “Our entire team is thrilled to be a part of the renaissance taking place in downtown Fort Myers’ historic river district.”
