Would You Wear Stickers That ‘Talk to Your Body’?

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s new big thing is Body Vibes stickers that promote healing.

BY June 29, 2017

Actress and lifestyle guru Gwyneth Paltrow has made some questionable recommendations in the past (remember the Nephrite jade egg fiasco?). So, if she suggested you buy a $60 pack of stickers that could re-balance your inner self, would you do it?

On Paltrow’s lifestyle blog, goop, the actress raves about multiple unconventional healing methods that up the hipster ante for self-medicating (without the medication, of course). Her newest foray includes healing stickers from Body Vibes that have the scientific backing to change your mood, mental well-being and even alleviate pain.

Using technology developed by partnering research leader AlphaBioCentrix, the stickers communicate with the wearer’s body with “specific sub-harmonic frequencies to target a particular lifestyle concern,” the Body Vibes website says.

Due to their waterproof and sweat-proof nature, Body Vibes can be worn for their recommended three days through exercise, swimming and showering. Body Vibes can even be mixed and matched (like the suggested Mood Boost sticker with the Anti-Anxiety one).

Can stickers make you happy? It could work like magic, or, as Stephen Colbert says, “You’re going to want to pick up their anti-anxiety sticker for the panic attack you’ll get when you realize you spent your rent money on stuff they give children free at the dentist.”
