BY March 29, 2017

Life continues to be pretty good here in Southwest Florida.

The annual Robert Wood Johnson Foundation nationwide health rankings put Collier County as the second-healthiest county in the state (behind St. Johns). Lee County came in 14th out of the 67 counties. The foundation makes its rankings based on length and overall quality of life.

South Florida did fairly well overall. The counties that struggled tended to be along the Georgia-Florida border.

The rankings go into more detail about a variety of factors, including pollution, education and clinical care. Dig deeper in the results here.
