St. Patrick’s Day is on a Saturday (March 17) this year. So, be ready for an above-average amount of revelry. Southwest Florida has plenty in store, whether you’re looking for a wild night out or a more subdued afternoon.
Naples
St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Starts at 11 a.m. at 10th Avenue South. Beforehand, The Dock will host its traditional flag-raising ceremony at 9:30 a.m.
The Pub Naples at Mercato: The Pub Paddy Party features drink and food specials, plus music (including bagpipe players) well into the night.
Paddy Murphy’s on Fifth Avenue South: The music starts at 9 a.m. and doesn’t stop until 2 a.m.
Naples Princess Cruises: Come dressed in green for the St. Patrick’s Day Dance Cruise at sunset.
Bonita Springs
Lansdowne Street Pub: A block party with live music, bag pipers, Irish dancers, food and drink specials and more.
Fitzgerald’s Pub: Irma shut down the restaurant—but that’s doesn’t mean the party has to stop. The parking lot will host Irish dancers, live music, and tons of corned beef and cabbage.
Momentum Brewhouse: New beer releases, live music and food trucks. Oh, and wear your leprechaun hat to get a dollar off your beer.
The Center Bar: Live music and drink specials. Then stroll around the Promenade at Bonita Bay.
Fort Myers
The Shell Factory: Get ready for a full afternoon of Irish music, dance, food—and even a costume contest.
Millennial Brewing: Go green—in another sense of the word. The brewery is hosting a Vegan St. Patrick’s Day Party.
St. Patrick’s Day Block Party: The annual River District party runs from noon to 10 p.m.
Society: A late-night party featuring drink specials and live music at this new Fort Myers hot spot.
Point Ybel Brewing Company: A St. Paddy’s party with Roots Almighty reggae band and new releases on tap.
Patio de Leon: Half Step Down performs under, what should be, a clear sky.
Cape Coral
Trolly Bar Crawl: Hop aboard and hit up 12 bars and restaurants in the South Cape.
Nevermind Awesome Bar & Eatery: Local craft beer tastings from 2-5 p.m.
Fort Myers Beach
St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Starting at 10 a.m., the parade will run along Estero Boulevard from Santini Marina Plaza North to Church of the Ascension.
Matanzas on the Bay: Chef Dave Chetwin’s famous corned beef and cabbage will be the centerpiece of an afternoon of entertainment and eating.
