Sleep Well, Lose Weight

Getting a good night’s rest can affect your body in ways you may have never thought, including the fact that it’s setting you up to lose weight.

Several studies have tracked the relationship between sleep and diet and found that a solid six to eight hours of sleep is one of the under-appreciated aspects of eating healthy. One study even found that people who slept well were twice as likely to stick to their diet than those who slept less. Another noted that a lack of sleep makes you more susceptible to hunger pangs, which, in turn, usually lead to junk food.
