Where to Take Mom for Mother’s Day

Brunches, concerts and more in Southwest Florida

BY May 11, 2017

Mother’s Day in Southwest Florida always has a lot in store—more than the brunch and flowers variety, although we’ve got a lot of that, too. Here are a few suggestions. Be sure to check out our calendar for even more events.

Just about any restaurant that’s open will have a Mother’s Day brunch. A few that stand out: Moms get macaroons at The French; Sea Salt created a special menu served until 3 p.m.; new Naples hot spot Ocean Prime is open early for a brunch; True Food Kitchen has blended up an organic vodka cocktail called The Matriarch. And don’t forget that Norman Love offers special Mother’s Day chocolates.

If you’re into brunching for a cause, the annual Mother’s Day Brunch to benefit Young Life Collier County is in Sugden Plaza.

Take your mom to the Naples Zoo, Naples Botanical Garden and the Edison & Ford Winter Estates and she’ll get in free.

The day before Mother’s Day, the Chair-a-Tea Party at Artichoke & Co. will feature hand-painted chairs for bidding with proceeds benefiting Our Mother’s Home of SWFL. Also, Ooh La La Jewels Du Jour will celebrate Mother’s Day on Saturday with Moms, Makeovers and Mimosas featuring free consultations from a beauty consultant and plenty of mimosas from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. And, you can take mom and grandma to the Mother-Daughter-Grandmother Look-A-Like contest at Miromar Outlets from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
