You may remember Chris Poehlmann and the artistic statement he made with light when he was based in Naples from 1995 to 2004. He was the darling of local designers (and this former Home & Condo editor). I was delighted when Chris, now in Philly, recently reached out to introduce his newest collection for CP Lighting, including the Crystal Wand pendant that was unveiled during the high-end International Contemporary Furniture Fair. These glorified glow sticks feature a garland of glimmering Swarovski crystals and a frosted acrylic shade. They’re available in single ($375) and triplicate ($900) through Judith Liegeois Design, Naples. Poehlmann is currently working with the designer on 40-foot floating aluminum tree branch fixture, which I can’t wait to see.
