Like so many others, Louis Kincaid, P. J. Parrish's crime and mystery sleuth, has moved to Southwest Florida. P.J. Parrish, (actually, a pen name for two sisters, Kristy Montee and Kelly Montee) has written a fourth Louis Kincaid mystery, Thicker than Water, to be published at the end of the month. Like Paint It Black, the previous installment, it's set in Fort Myers and Captiva. This time around, Kincaid is trying to solve a 20-year-old case of rape and murder linked to a more recent murder. Kincaid is drawn into a web of lies and deceit stickier than a humid Southwest Florida summer night. Locals will have no problem recognizing the locations and places he's led to while solving the crime. Perhaps Kincaid is here to stay. The sisters are already working on a new installment featuring a Gulfshore backdrop.
