Bonita Springs: On Saturday, July 1, the Bonita Springs Fire Department will hold its annual parade, beginning at 9 a.m. 949-6200. After the parade, head to Riverside Park, where the City of Bonita will host a party from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. On July 4, catch the fireworks at Palmira Country Club starting at 9 p.m.
Cape Coral: Attend the giant Red, White and Boom street party on the Cape Coral Parkway beginning at 4 p.m. July 4 with fireworks at 9 p.m. 549-6900.
Fort Myers: Watch the Fort Myers Miracle play the Dunedin Blue Jays at 7 p.m. July 3 at Hammond Stadium, then catch the fireworks after the game. 768-4210. On July 4, the annual First Home RiverFest at Centennial Park kicks off at 4 p.m. and culminates with fireworks over the Caloosahatchee River at 9 p.m. 332-6680. Also, the Edison & Ford Winter Estates fireworks begin at 9 p.m. 334-7419.
Fort Myers Beach: Catch the show by the Pier and Times Square at 9 p.m. 454-7500.
Marco Island: Marco Island Civics Association hosts entertainment on the beach on July 4. 642-7778.
Naples: The downtown parade begins at 10 a.m. and ends at City Hall. Fireworks at the Pier start at 9 p.m. 213-1030.
Sanibel: Catch the parade down Periwinkle Way at 9 a.m., then join the picnic lunch at the Community Center park at noon. Watch the fireworks from the causeway beginning at 9 p.m. 472-1080.
Pine Island: The Fourth of July parade begins at 11 a.m. on Stringfellow Road.
