Mary Ann Bindley

What are you wearing? I saw the dress in November when Zang Toi brought his collection here to Saks Fifth Avenue. I had him modify the top slightly for me. I absolutely love it. The shoes are Isaac Mizrahi. My diamond earrings were a Christmas gift from my husband, Bill.

What's your style? I'm very eclectic. I enjoy wearing jeans and cowboy boots. I also play golf, so most of my clothes are golf-related.

What new trend will you wear this season? I'm not one to follow trends.

What have you recently splurged on? My new Zang Toi cashmere shawl with mink trim. I packed it for our trip to Torino, Italy, and it was the perfect traveling companion. I wore it to the Opening Ceremony [of the Winter Olympics], which was sensational.

How was Italy? Bill and I spent a marvelous week in Sestriere and Torino. Sestriere is in northwestern Italy, and all of the Alpine skiing, snowboarding, freestyle skiing, moguls and jumping were held in that area.

Did you do any skiing? One day we skied in Italy and France--such a thrill. It sounds like we covered a lot of terrain, but we were out for only five hours and had lunch in a small French mountainside café.

Who are your fashion influences? Akris, Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren. I bought a blue Ralph Lauren sweater set at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York 10 years ago. It's my favorite item in my closet. I'll never get rid of it.

What's your beauty secret? I really like Chanel makeup. I also use SkinCeuticals moisturizer along with many of their other skin products. And I love wearing Sisley's Eau du Soir perfume.
