ROTARY CLUB OF CAPE CORAL TO HOLD 29th ANNUAL CAPE CORAL FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS
Saturday, January 11th and Sunday, January 12th, Rain or Shine
The Rotary Club of Cape Coral is pleased to announce they will be holding their 29th Annual Cape Coral Festival of the Arts from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11th and Sunday, January 12th, 2014.
As one of Southwest Florida’s largest art shows, this annual art event showcases the works of more than 300 juried artists and artisans featuring fine art, sculpture, pottery, jewelry, photography, metal works, mixed media and much more.
The festival takes place on Cape Coral Parkway in downtown Cape Coral between Del Prado Boulevard and Vincennes. Free admission and parking will be provided along with area’s largest collection of art, food and fun for the whole family.
A few of the artists showing their works include Cindylee Sly and Dawn Weber of Wood Nymph Creative Artistry, LLC and returning past poster artist Gretchen Serrano of Paw Palettes. This year’s official event poster artist is Mark J. Thomas of Natural Selection® Nature Photography. Thomas’ work has been selected as a category winner in the annual “Nature’s Best Photography” Windland Smith Rice International Awards competition. His Hummingbird image will appear in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History through Spring 2015.
The Rotary Club of Cape Coral produces the Cape Coral Festival of the Arts annually.
