The wines of Groth Vineyards, located in the Oakville Appellation in Napa Valley, Calif, will be featured at the Aug. 21 wine dinner at Angelina’s Ristorante.
Continuing an annual tradition, Angelina’s features a summer wine series each month through October. This year’s series, Stars and Stripes, highlights a distinguished group of U.S. producers.
The inspired four-course menu created by the award-winning culinary team features lemongrass rainbow trout with cranberry enoki mushroom-scallion salad with a miso vinaigrette and avocado foam, paired with Groth, Sauvignon Blanc, 2012; squab, prosciutto and gruyere strudel accompanied by a caramelized onion and apricot agrodolce, finished with creme fraiche, paired with Groth, Chardonnay, 2011; braised rabbit ravioli, roasted shallots and trumpet mushrooms, paired with Groth, Cabernet Sauvignon, 2010; and herb-roasted wild boar, rutabaga and potato gratin, broccolini ragu, finished with a huckleberry red wine reduction, paired with Groth, Cabernet Sauvignon.
The wine dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. and is priced at $89 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Space is limited and reservations must be made in advance at 239-390-3187.

Live piano music will be performed in the lounge Thursday through Saturday from 7:30 to 10 p.m.
