Nearly fifty years ago, the Harmon Gallery opened in Naples, Florida showing works by distinguished masters in the American art scene. These were artists of historical note who had their creations in a minimum of twenty-five museum permanent collections. Gallery founder, Foster Harmon, changed the quiet little town of Naples forever when he decided to bring artists of prominence to Naples. That tradition continues today and is the reason why more than eighty museums in twenty-seven states have borrowed more than three hundred exhibitions from the gallery since 1978. If you want to grace your home or office with works of importance then this exhibition serves as a good primer in fine American art appreciation.
