The Greater Naples YMCA announced that the 2013 Sneaker Ball has been rescheduled for Friday, April 26 at 7 p.m. The event was originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 2.
Continuing an eight-year tradition, the Sneaker Ball will feature an informal atmosphere urging guests to “Leave your tuxedo at home, put on your sneakers and join us for an exciting fundraising event”. The event will be held at the now closed DeVoe Pontiac Showroom at 2601 Airport Pulling Road South and feature foods and cocktails from many of Naples best restaurants, plus dancing to the beat of five different live bands.
All of the proceeds from the Sneaker Ball will benefit the children and families of our community that need help the most; which is a fundamental part of the Y’s mission. Through the philanthropic support of our community, the Y is able to help many children, adults and families become healthier, more confident and better connected.
All of the programs at the Y are affordable, accessible, and open to all faiths, backgrounds, abilities and income levels.
