Description

The Friends of the Library of Collier County presents the Non Fiction Author Series at the Country Club of Naples for the benefit of the Collier County public libraries.  We are fortunate to have as our first author on January 22, Michael Tougias, a maritime writer who has written the true story of an American family's fight for survival during WWII titled So Close to Home.  There is a continental breakfast at 9 AM and the lecture begins at 9:30.  On February 26, Lawrence Goldstone presents his book Going Deep about the invention of the attack submarine.  The final lecturer, Del Quentin Wilber presents his book Rawhide Down  about the near assassination of Ronald Reagan.  The Friends of the Library of Collier County is a nonprofit organization that supports Collier County public libraries and provides for the literary and educational needs of the community.  for additional information, go to www.collier-friends.org or contact Marlene at 239-262-8135.
