Dec 8, 2012
Join us on Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 9 to 11 am in packing over 75,000 Meals of Hope to send to Haiti as they struggle post Hurricane Sandy. We need 200 volunteers of all ages to help us reach our goal!
Hope for Haiti needs your support, as Hurricane Sandy has devastated the South of Haiti. We are completely out of food for our emergency buckets, and we want to prepare another 2,500 for distribution. The need is still overwhelming, and according to Haitian officials, there is worry about a post-Sandy food crisis nationwide.
In response, Hope for Haiti is organizing a food packing event in collaboration with Meals of Hope. We need 200 volunteers of all ages! Please extend this invitation to all of your friends and family in the area. Please call (239) 434-7183 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to volunteer. We need ALL OF YOU to make this happen!
It’s free to participate. However, donations of any amount will be gratefully accepted to help defray the cost of the food and shipping to Haiti. Donations may be made at the door or by visiting the special form using this link:
