Jeremy F. Goodman's Hip Latin Jazz Big Band Benefit Concert for Post 9-11 Veterans Suffering with PTSD

NYC composer Jeremy F. Goodman has gathered some of the best musicians in Florida to perform twelve of his original big band Latin jazz compositions for a benefit concert to support veterans in SW Florida . The Latin jazz big band will perform at Community School's G & L Theatre Saturday September 7th at 7PM. The program will include Latin Jazz music ranging from Brazilian bossa novas and sambas to afro–Cuban mambos, cha-cha-chas, sizzling salsa tunes, and a unique Latin multi-genre arrangement of “Rhapsody in Blue.” All benefits go to the Miles of Smiles Foundation's equine assisted psychotherapy (EAP) program for post 9-11 veterans suffering with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Tickets available at the door. Suggested donation for the concert are: adults $15, students $10, and children 10 and under $5.

The Miles of Smiles Foundation runs the Miles Ranch, a twenty acre horse facility that houses equine assisted psychotherapy programs for Operation Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom living in the SW Florida region.
