Naple Quilt Guild members annually premiere quilts in Naples at the Annual Quilt Show. Frequently this work goes on to win prestigious national and international awards and inclusion in invitation-only exhibits. For example:

• Rising star Betty New's A Luthier's Dream won Best of Show in the 2012 Naples Annual Quilt Show, then First Place: Art Abstract-Small at the elite International Quilt Association Show, and is now in IQA’s traveling exhibit
• NQG Charity Raffle Quilts frequently win awards in national quilt competitions

Celebrating NQG’s 30th anniversary, the Naples Annual Quilt Show breaks with show tradition by presenting two special exhibits and two "Meet the Artist" events:

• NQG's Breast Cancer Awareness Month display (originally presented by Coastland Center),
• NQG is honored to present 10 art quilts by World-renowned Naples artist Pat Kumicich, from a collection she tongue-in-cheek dubs “Angst it a Shame”
• Pat will be on hand twice for the public to "Meet the Artist"

“Angst it a Shame” is a conscience, heart and soul stirring series that reflects Pat’s extraordinary range as an artist. For this exhibit she has expertly mixed media and innovative techniques to conceive, construct and complete master works of quilt art.

Pat has generously donated one of her exquisite, whimsical art quilts to the Show's Quilt Auction (benefits 2-3 local women and children's charities).

Enhanced by state-of-the-art technology at New Hope Ministries, the Annual Naples Quilt Show presents a rare opportunity to meet Pat and view her work, see hundreds of quilts by NQG members, shop at two venues plus available-for-sale quilts, dine at the Cafe, watch demonstrations, buy a chance to win the Charity Raffle Quilt, bring a quilt for appraisal by nationally renowned appraiser Teddy Pruett, and much more.

Quilt Auction: Saturday starting at 1 p.m.

Charity Quilt Raffle: Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
