This event occurs weekly, on Wednesday.
Did you know cycling is associated with improved cardiovascular fitness and lowers your risk of coronary heart disease? Every Wednesday from 1:30-2pm, pedal for heart health at Time Trial Cycle’s “Healthy Heart” cycling class. Registration is available at www.timetrialecycle.com.
Led by Time Trial Cycle co-founder Carter Wheeler, the 30-minute “Healthy Heart” ride is designed to increase endurance and exercise muscles and joints with low-impact cycling, allowing participants to track their heart rate, monitor their progress, and gradually get their hearts healthy.
“The heart is a muscle that gets stronger and healthier when you exercise, with research showing that active people are nearly half as likely to get heart disease as those who do not exercise,” said Wheeler. “We are excited to introduce our special 30-minute ‘Healthy Heart’ cycling classes, providing the community with a weekly opportunity to obtain the health benefits of a cycling workout in a fun, motivational and non-judgmental environment.”
