Art in the Park

Now celebrating 55 years as Naples’ oldest art fair, Art in the Park features Naples Art Association members showcasing a variety of original paintings, photographs, unique décor, wearables, collectibles and gifts. Each art fair features hands-on-art experiences and live demonstrations from skilled artists. Location: To the west of The von Liebig Art Center at 585 Park Street. American Studio Glass

The Photographic Journal of Clyde Butcher February 2nd – May 26th, 2012 Native son and world-renowned black-and-white fine arts photographer Clyde Butcher returns to the Museum to celebrate the Museum’s 30th anniversary with a specially designed exhibition! Along with his original black and white photographs taken with a large format view camera, The Photographic Journal of Clyde Butcher will detail the story of the photograph: the negative, technical details, darkroom information, images of him photographing the scene and the story of the pursuit of the photograph. Lee BIA’s 2012 Parade of Homes™ to Feature 41 Decorated Models

As one of Southwest Florida’s most anticipated real estate events of the year, the Lee Building Industry Association’s 2012 Parade of Homes ™ will offer residents and visitors the opportunity to view 41 decorated model homes throughout the area—open all at once. The 26th annual event will go on the first 3 weekends of February 2012; February 2nd-5th, 9th-12th, and 16th-19th. Asia Fest 2012

Come celebrate the Year of the Dragon at the 8th annual Asia Fest on February 4, 2012, from 11 AM to 4 PM, at the Mercato Shopping Center in Naples. Enjoy Asian cuisine and vendors, and cultural performances including Asian dancers, Chinese lion dance and dragon show, martial arts, the Fushu Daiko Japanese taiko drummers, handmade noodle demonstration, and Home Depot Kids Workshop. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Naples Asian Professionals Association College Scholarship Program, the Education Foundation, and the Naples YMCA Child Development Center. Admission: $5.
