Downtown Naples Fall World Wine Tour The Annual Naples Fall World Wine Tour sold out quickly as almost 20 restaurants on—or just off—Fifth Avenue South, participated last Thursday evening. A $40 ticket covered appetizers and a choice of red or white wine at each restaurant. Truluck's fried chicken fingers Truluck’s offered tasty fried chicken breast fingers and fried rice and crab balls; the Jolly Cricket rolled out tasty Scotch eggs, as “Doc” entertained at the piano. Ristorante D-Angeli had a generous spread of pastas gnocchi, bruschetta and canapés, with their violinist serenading eventgoers. Nirvana Fusion Brings Unique Indian Food to Fort Myers Nirvana Indian Fusion Cuisine opened at the prior site of The New Metropolitan Restaurant on College Parkway in Fort Myers. In well-separated areas, it has an elegantly simple dining room, a beautiful wood bar and lounge, outdoor live entertainment and a banquet area. Nirvana Indian Fusian Cuisine. The food is a welcome addition to Southwest Florida. The chef cooks with a slight Madras style, and spiciness is adjusted to your comfort level. I enjoyed the Butter Chicken ($12), with tender breast meat cooked in garam masala and a tomato sauce. The Thai-inspired Massaman Curry ($12) blends curry spices with peanut sauce.
