Saffron, chef rajesh rimal’s new indian restaurant, beckons you with the generous mixed appetizer. This is a delicious, mildly spiced way to start a meal, or it could be a satisfying entrée. It includes a lamb kebab, meat and vegetable samosas (filled pastry), deep-fried eggplant, sweet potato and cauliflower pakoras, a plump onion bhaji and a crisp, wafer-thin papadum cracker. The chilled mint chutney dip adds a refreshing contrast.
