Auctioneer, president of the Naples Art Association
Her day job is finding art and objects that need a new home as director of operations for Leslie Hindman Auctioneers. By night, Stacey Bulloch helps to bring art to the masses. As president of the Naples Art Association, Bulloch is overseeing a transitional period for an organization that is closing in on 60 years in the community.
“Our main focus is getting refocused on our mission,” she says. That includes supporting and promoting local artists, building awareness of the arts through festivals and exhibits, and providing educational programs to the community.

Artist, critic, director of Unit A
Veron Ennis is the arts world equivalent of a renaissance woman. She creates, she manages and she critiques. Her most pressing assignment is “coordinating the global hub for all things Marcus Jansen.” Unit A, in downtown Fort Myers, acts as a sort of clearing house for the budding art superstar before his works are sent to galleries all over the world.
But to stay current, she reviews art for Art District News. And she always returns to her first passion—painting. Expect to see more from her in 2013, when she’s scheduled for one-woman shows at the HOWL Gallery and the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center.

Producing artistic director, Gulfshore Playhouse
Kristen Coury has always had big dreams for Gulfshore Playhouse, her professional theater troupe. At one point, before the real estate crash, there were talks of the company having its own building as part of a larger arts complex in Estero.
But she found her home at the Norris Center in downtown Naples a few years back and has since been on a roll with one great production after another. Now she’s petitioning the city to let her expand the center to make a bigger, more comfortable place to put on shows.
