Visitors Guide: Galleries
Back in the dark ages (maybe 50 years ago), art here was almost exclusively housed in museums and galleries. But art is for celebrating, indoors and out … and there’s no lovelier place imaginable than our subtropical Paradise to celebrate all its forms. Collectors come from around the world to acquire the works of our established and emerging artists, and our scores of galleries and studios overflow with beautiful art in every medium, from oil and watercolor to glass and clay. Still, there’s no way to contain our passion for public art. Stunning sculptures and monuments, murals and trompe l’oeil grace our parks, public spaces and businesses. You’ll find a comprehensive list of our world-class galleries and museums on these pages. And be sure to enjoy the works of gifted artisans in unlikely places, from mailboxes to hand-wrought garden gates.
