Just Ducky

Pining for pâté? La Brasserie, the buzzed-about bistro in Fort Myers, offers a tantalizing trio of homemade spreads derived from duck. Although offered as an appetizer, this platter's rich and generous enough to make a meal with the crusty rolls provided. There's a roughly textured rustic recipe studded with peppercorns, an ethereal mousse whipped up with duck liver and port, and a poached duck-breast version. Ooh la-la!
