\n All sale proceeds go to one charity for one day only at t he Bargain Box Thrift Store (www.bargainboxnaples.com). \; The oldest thrift store in Naples\, also a mission of Naples United Church of Christ (NUCC)\, will donate proceeds from all merchant sales on Saturday\, Jan. 2 6\, 2013 to Grace Place for Children &\; Families. The event\, coined B argain Box Benefits\, takes giving to the extreme by rousing those who lov e the thrift store shopping experience with a chance to be part of a uniqu e charity fundraiser. \;
\n\n Shoppers will receive 50% off jew elry and 25% off on everything else in the store with a chance to win an e xtra 25% off a purchase every hour starting at 10:30 a.m. The event runs f rom 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.\, with a blessing from Naples United Church of Chris t Rev. Ron Patterson at 1 p.m. Bargain Box is located at 153 10th Street S outh in the Naples Downtown Design District.
\n\n &ldquo\;This event will be a great way to raise needed funds for our mission as well as rais e awareness of this great resource to our community\,&rdquo\; says Rev. St ephanie Munz Campbell\, Executive Director of Grace Place for Children and Families\, a faith-based non-profit neighborhood center teaching literacy \, language and life skills to children and families in Golden Gate city. Rev. Munz Campbell says many of the center&rsquo\;s teachers and students will be at the Jan. 26 Bargain Box Benefits event to personally thank shop pers.
\n\n &ldquo\;Partnering with Grace Place helps us increase awa reness of our mission\,&rdquo\; says store manager Sandy Goldstein who add s that since moving to the new store location on 10th Street South in Octo ber 2011\, Bargain Box has increased contributions to the NUCC Board of Mi ssions by 80%. \;In 2012 the store donated $225\,000\, which will be u sed to help over 50 mission partners through NUCC outreach programs.
