\n Pop-rockers Sister Hazel will perform their chart-topping hits at Seminole Casino Immokalee on Saturday\, March 9 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday\, Feb. 1.

\n\n Combining eleme nts of acoustic rock\, folk and jangle pop\, Sister Hazel formed in 1993 i n Gainesville\, Fla. The band&rsquo\;s five members all boasted ties to th e city&rsquo\;s local scene. Vocalist/guitarist Ken Block and guitarist/vo calist Andrew Copeland canvassed the coffee shop circuit as a duo\, lead g uitarist Ryan Newell honed his chops with the local band Waterdog\, bassis t Jett Beres studied his instrument while pursuing a degree in architectur e\, and drummer Mark Trojanowski played with several Florida-based jazz en sembles before pursuing a career in pop music.

\nSister Hazel released their debut album in 1994 before moving to a major label for their second album\, 1997&rsquo\;s Somewhere More Familiar. The album&rsquo\;s &ldquo\;All for You&rdquo\; topped the adult alter native charts and propelled the album to platinum status. After touring he avily\, the band released their third album\, Fortress\, with the popular single &ldquo\;Change Your Mind.&rdquo\; Their seventh studio alb um\, 2009&rsquo\;s Release\, reached the top 50 on the Billboard Album Charts. Heartland Highway followed in 2010. The band contin ues to tour\, doing around 100 tour stops annually.
