Model of the Year: A Star is Born

We set out to find the best amateur modeling talent in Southwest Florida. Meet our winner and two finalists.

BY July 3, 2013

In our inaugural Model of the Year contest, we received stunning submissions from more than 70 locals, each without professional model representation. The competition was steep, but the following women could have fooled us on their lack of experience: Ashley Gerry bested the competition, earning a spot on our cover and four-page spread. Hot on her heels were the lovely runners-up AmandaJane Kapp and Monique Evans. You can learn more about the contest and backgrounds of the beauties in our editorial on p. 18. Here, the ladies dazzle like pros in fashions exclusively from Marissa Collections.
