Health Watch: Running at Night Doesn’t Hurt Sleep

If you dream of being fit, a new study suggests that working out at night doesn’t hurt your sleep pattern after all. Researchers at Arizona State University found that people who work out in the evening sleep just as well as those who don’t. While people with morning workouts slept best overall, there was zero difference in sleep quality between those who workout just hours before bedtime and those who sat on the couch all night. So go ahead and workout after dinner. It beats dessert.
