The fashion, the film, the food! If there’s any country that rivals our arts, it has got to be Italy. This year’s ArtsNaples World Festival, directed by local music force Maestro William Noll, brings to town all the finer things from the boot from Thursday through May 10. A fun and fancy Venetian masquerade Thursday opens a 10-day series of opera, string music, piano pieces and more. We’re particularly excited about The von Liebig Art Center’s The Sweet Life black-and-white exhibit by veteran fashion photographer Giovanni Lunardi, an energetic performance by the showmen and woman of Quartetto Gelato at Sugden Community Theatre, and cooking demonstrations by authentic eateries Osteria Tulia and Barbatella.
