'Mid Century Modern With a Twang'

Some designers take classic lines and give them a more rustic look.

More of a big bold attitude than interiors adorned with pony hair blankets and calf-skin fabrics, the Wild West gets a nod in several new introductions. Hancock & Moore dubs its collection “mid-century modern with a twang.” Reminiscent of an Adirondack in silhouette, the manufacturer’s Timber is a modern interpretation of the traditional lodge chair, finished to highlight the wood grain and featuring nail-head trim and hand-burnished leather. Available at Norris Home Furnishings, Fort Myers and Naples.

Hand-worked wrought iron in a shipyard bronze finish and antique manila rope wrapped around the main frame gives Troy Lighting’s Embarcadero chandelier a rustic belongs-on-the-ranch look. Priced at $1,876 and available at local Ferguson showrooms.
