By the time November rolls around, it’s like we’ve come out of the woodwork. All we want to do is be outdoors, our new refuge in place of dark, air-conditioned rooms, and Paint the Beach provides the perfect excuse. Sixty returning and first-time artists from across the country will be creating “en plein air,” capturing the beauty of the Fort Myers Beach area from shrimp boats to Times Square to sandcastles to Lovers Key. Today through Sunday, come see the magic at work in all styles, rain or shine, including a quick- draw competition on Saturday that welcomes us amateurs as well.
