Tropical Pineapple at The Island Seafood Restaurant
Chef/co-owner Freddie Garcia artfully combines pineapple, mango, papaya, mushrooms, multicolored sweet peppers, crisp bacon, and succulent seafood or grilled chicken with a creamy passion fruit-based Mayan Riviera sauce. The generous dish is plated in a sweet pineapple boat, topped with mozzarella cheese, baked and served with Cuban bread.
