W Design won an Aurora Award from the Southeast Building Conference for the kitchen remodel in this Naples family retreat. Custom white cabinetry—big in kitchen design—is paired with sea pearl granite countertops and a glass mosaic backsplash, the latter a design element W’s Wendy Berry calls “youthful and spunky yet sophisticated.” The bar was designed to contrast with stained rift white oak cabinetry, Silestone counters and fun bar stools. “Our clients of all generations are enjoying a comfortable, transitional look.”
