Ever the stickler for detail, Pitt often devotes two years to perfecting each piece, which Pollaro then builds to order by hand. The Pitt-Pollaro collection includes the simply named PP-2 bed, available in a choice of exotic woods with nickel detailing and inlaid farm-raised stingray skins, hand-laid eggshell or goatskin and the option of integrated movable bedside tables or drawers. Pitt-Polarro’s totally customizable high-low units are fashioned from lacquered Ceylon satinwood and Macassar ebony; the Arc table from sleek polished stainless steel and glass.
