Fans of the ’50s, here’s the real deal: three mid-century pieces currently available at Auctions Neapolitan & Gallery in Naples showcasing American and Danish design. The Console, circa 1960s, was created by Gerry Zanck for Gregori Furniture using travertine, cane, brass and walnut. It’s signed, in mint condition and $1,250. The ebony-finished maple Slat Bench, another American piece, is the work of George Nelson for Herman Miller, is autographed, shows some wear and is $1,800. Danish designer Hans J. Wegner created the 1950s teak and cane Chair, priced at $2,250 and in excellent condition.
