It’s wonderful to see so many charitable events being hosted in our Southwest Florida community, and because many of them take place outside and require more casual attire, I thought it timely to offer some suggestions for casually chic dressing, whatever the function.
Business-casual: Consider what you’d wear for a business meeting or a day at the office, then take it down a notch. With a dress and jacket combo, remove the jacket and add a bold accessory.
Dressy-casual: Dresses, skirts or pants, and dressy tops, are all suitable. Pair dark-wash jeans and a sparkly top to add some pizzazz.
Casual: Long, breezy skirts or dresses, linen wide-legged pants and light-as-air floaty ponchos all make a welcome change from shorts and a T-shirt. Add wooden bangles or strands of beads, or stack on some thin leather bracelets, to complete your casual but oh-so-chic look.
