The homey brunch spot that has taken Naples by storm will be offering three-course prix fixes on select nights.

Chefs Lisa Resch and Bryan Sutton have delivered on their promise to open their brunch hot spot, The Rooster Food + Drink, at regular intervals for dinner.

The kickoff was the night before Valentine’s Day, which featured a three-course Low Country-themed menu with a glass of Blanc de Blancs.

Their plan is to open every Tuesday night going forward with a similar setup: The $50 prix-fixe will include a glass of house wine, and the options for “starters,” “middles” and “finishers” will change weekly. (If all goes as expected, they’re shooting to do the same on Wednesdays as well.)

An ultra-creamy mushroom bisque, flecked with rosemary and other herbs

As for the courses, one night could feature a heavenly mushroom bisque spiked with rosemary or a chopped salad with greens, fried chickpeas, candied pancetta, sundried tomatoes and caramelized cipollini onions. Mains might include Sutton’s signature “crunchy” grouper with almonds over a charred pineapple-pepper farro or a Southern barbecue osso bucco with thyme-infused parsnip purée alongside pecan-garlic green beans. House-baked pies and cakes will round out the experience.

Because the place is as cozy as a chicken coop with just 30 seats, they strongly recommend making reservations by calling (239) 228-5973.
