He may have become a bit of a pop culture fixation what for all of his love life entanglements—Linda Thompson, Yolanda Hadid, Katherine McPhee—but David Foster should be celebrated first and foremost as a legendary musical Renaissance man. The musician/composer/arranger/record producer is responsible for some of the most beloved and iconic songs, and careers, in music. Thanks to him we have some great works by the diverse likes of Whitney Houston, Andrea Bocelli, Celine Dion, Babyface, Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, Rod Stewart, Kenny Rogers and many others ( … like Katherine McPhee). Makes sense his tour is titled “Hitman”; it stops at Artis—Naples for “An Intimate Evening” on April 27.
