We’re still feeling pretty good around here.

For the fourth straight year, the Naples area tops the Gallup National Health and Well-Being Index. The annual survey is based on the results of more than 276,000 interviews with Americans on five topics: career happiness, financial well-being, social support, community pride and overall physical health.

Southwest Florida as a whole did well in the study. Cape Coral-Fort Myers came in sixth, up from 22nd last year. The Sarasota area came in ninth. Dig into the rankings a bit more here.

Why does Naples continue to do so well in these studies? We took a closer look at that a few years ago in a story for our annual Healthy Life publication.
