Things to Do Fourth of July Weekend in Southwest Florida

  • The Fourth falls on a Thursday this year (we hope you got Friday off, too), so here’s the patriotic lineup for the day: Naples’ Parade starts at 10 a.m. along Fifth Avenue South and fireworks at the pier kick off around 9 p.m.; the Fort Myers Miracle hosts its own display at 7 p.m.; Freedom Fest runs from 6-10 p.m. in downtown Fort Myers; Red, White and Boom takes place at the base of Cape Coral Bridge from 5-10 p.m; Fort Myers Beach hosts its full day fest starting at 10 a.m. with the parade and ending with fireworks at 8:45 p.m.; Star Spangled Bonita features live music, kids activities, food and drink from 4-9 p.m. at Riverside Park. 
  • Carlos Mencia is at the Off The Hook Comedy Club Friday through Sunday
  • If you’re looking for nice night at the theater, The Naples Players are presenting Mamma Mia! through July 28.
  • The Women’s World Cup final is Sunday. Millennial Brewing Co. is hosting a watch party.
