Three60 Market in East Naples, the original brainchild of entrepreneur Rebecca Maddox, attracted a devoted local following soon after opening in 2012. The restaurant, which offers an expansive breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and a selection of affordable wine that would make even the most frugal oenophile happy (no bottle is marked higher than $3.60), is expanding its reach further into Naples with a second dining location.
Maddox and Ed Mullen, the owner of La Colmar Bakery and Bistro, partnered with the idea of enhancing the bakery’s business. “He said, ‘why don’t we partner and put our heads together to see what we can do in the space?’” said Maddox. In December, the two co-branded their restaurants in the bakery’s location on Tamiami Trail, offering what Maddox refers to as “the best of the best” of each menu.
The new hotspot, referred to as Three60 Market and Wine Shop Downtown, offers all the same delicacies that rattled the food scene in Naples over the last few years, including the cheese-topped tomato pie and quiche and croissants, baked in-house every day. In the spirit of a true businesswoman, Maddox listened to the grievances of patrons who loved the market’s variety of wines but hated the long drive to the Bayshore location—so she brought the wine shop downtown.
“That’s the big ‘hey guys, we listened to you and here we are,’” she says. Between that kind of exceptional service and a fusion of some of Naples’ best dishes, it’s clear that Three60 Market continues to hit all the right notes.
