The local arm of the Courage to Run 5K—which celebrates women running for office and was previously scheduled to take place at Florida Gulf Coast University—is now a virtual run. You’ll get a five-week training plan, a medal and certificate, and you’ll donate to the cause when you register.

The Average Joe Run gives those who are not-so-athletic to take steps toward a healthier lifestyle. Attendees go to North Collier Regional Park to participate in this event where you can run or walk to the finish line.

Get your walk on and help keep the beaches you love tidy during the International Coastal Cleanup, held locally by Keep Collier Beautiful. There are more than a dozen spots countywide where you can participate. Plus, treading sand builds strong calf muscles. It’s a win-win.
